Welcome to my new blog! From the time I was a little girl I have always enjoyed my family gatherings Next to all of the family photos, my favorite part of my up-bringing was all the great food my mother, aunts and grandmothers would prepare. I have always wanted to preserve all those tremendous recipes that have been passed on to me.
Some of the recipes I will share here are copied from other sources, but were "staples"
when we would get together for holidays, birthdays and other special
gatherings. Some of the recipes are family recipes that have been
handed down from generation to generation; like my Grandmother's Hungarian Balish Recipe. I may even post some of my own special recipes!
My hope is that you all will enjoy a little piece of my "family tree" and my family traditions.
